The other night Bay Area band, Secret People, test ran some of our new denim-washed khakis just for kicks. What happens when you throw four pairs of khakis at a local punk band? They pose like this:

But, wait. The backstory. We fueled up on pizza then headed to their practice space. Another band had just finished playing, so the room was nice and cozy (read: hot and sweaty).
The guys wore their own tops and shoes—from Ts, flannels, and polos to various kinds of Vans—and it was cool to see their individual styles emerge, even wearing the same pair of pants.
When the camera came out, they went from stoic faces to fits of laughter; Backstreet Boy stances (more chuckles) to leaps in the air. Together for 4+ years, it’s obvious these guys are in sync.
Head to their August 27 show, and maybe you’ll see them in their khakis, all broken-in—and all the better for it.
